Accounting Manager

Salt Lake County, UT

Seeking a highly skilled and organized accounting manager with demonstrated experience to join an extremely fast-paced and growing team. This person will be responsible for the day-to-day accounting operation to include all processes and procedures.

As an accounting manager you are subject to but not limited to the following responsibilities:
 
Accounts Receivable:
• Contract review and pre-qualifications
• Preliminary notices
• Change orders
• Schedule of Values (SOV) and budget management
• Insurance and Owner Controlled Insurance Program (OCIP) management
• Change orders
• Audit support
• TBD: Workers’ compensation, Apprenticeship management
 
Accounts Payable:
• Statement review
• Manage invoice data entry
• Lien releases
• Credit limits, vendor account management, relationship building, and negotiations
• Purchase orders
 
Requirements:
• 5+ years proven working experience as Accounting Manager, Accounting Supervisor or Finance Manager
• Bachelor’s degree in Accounting or Finance
• Advanced computer skills on MS Office, accounting software and databases
• Construction knowledge and/or expertise
• Ability to manipulate large amounts of data
• Proven knowledge of bookkeeping and accounting principles to include debits, balance sheets, income
statements along with practices, standards, laws and regulations
• High attention to detail and accuracy
• Ability to direct and supervise

Compensation based on experience.
$80,000-$90,000/yr
